Dishwasher & Prep-Cook - SIGN ON BONUS!!!!!

The Granite Restaurant and Bar is actively seeking someone who can work part-time to fill in as a dual role, as BOTH a dishwasher and a prep-cook. We are looking for part-time help, but the more availability you have and flexibility to fill in as multiple roles, the more hours we can give you.

We have been steadily rebuilding our team from when we re-opened our doors on October 27, 2021. We are very excited to share this opportunity with you and our community. We have a new General Manager, Executive Chef, and BOH team, plus returning staff, who are all ready to welcome you aboard. The Granite Restaurant & Bar is known for its outstanding food and amazing service, earning us countless awards and loyal patrons whom we adore. We will be open for dinner four nights a week with brunch on Sundays, and are looking for professional, friendly, and experienced dishwashers to join our Food and Beverage team. We can’t wait for you to become part of the newly re-established Granite Restaurant family!

We are currently closed on Sunday and Monday. This is a part-time position that may have full time potential in the future.

Job Summary:

· Sorts, washes, and puts away all dishes, pots, pans, trays, silver, and utensils. Utilizes an automatic dishwasher and / or a 3-compartment sink as necessary.

· Stocks, stores, and keeps assigned areas organized according to established procedures. Stocks purchase order items as they arrive.

· Keeps dish room, walk-in refrigerator/freezer, glassware, flatware and porcelain storage areas, and food storage areas neat, clean, and organized.

· Assists with food preparation as directed when other duties do not require attention.

· Follows all health and safety practices and procedures as outlined by the company.

· Empties garbage cans, sweeps and mops, and performs other closing duties.

Required Experience:

· 16+ years old.

· Previous Culinary experience a plus.

· Must continuously demonstrate a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude.

· Interest in growth within the Culinary department a plus.

· Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and other high volume days and times (i.e. town festivals).

· KBPT ONLY Successful completion of background check and/or DMV check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
