Team Members must be available to work a minimum of two (2) shifts per week, and have weekend availability. As a Back of House Team Member, you’ll take ownership of producing the highest quality food product with precision and accuracy by fulfilling roles in the following areas: Food Prep, Raw/Breading, Grilling/Frying, Cleaning/Maintenance, and Storage/Waste Disposal. Whether you’re making breakfast biscuits by hand, washing produce, or assembling sandwiches, our team members work hard to ensure every guest receives a consistent food experience of excellence.
Team Member Expectations & Responsibilities:
- Develop trust with our guests by consistently serving high-quality food in a food-safe and sanitary environment, and by preparing, cooking and presenting food orders with accuracy in accordance with local health and Chick-fil-A quality standards.
- Perform various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dishwashing, general and equipment cleaning, and storage and rotation of food products and supplies in accordance with all federal, state, & local regulatory procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items at all times.
- Maintain a calm demeanor, especially during periods of high volume to preserve a positive work environment and a hospitable experience for our guests.
- Willingness to be used in all Back of House positions.
- Ability to multitask and work at a quick, yet efficient and thorough pace- hustle is a must!
- Comfortable using technology such as training tablets, multiple POS systems, and multiple cell phone applications.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, which includes but is not limited to: standing for hours at a time, bending, squatting, lifting up to 50lbs, and equipment handling such as pans, pots, knives, fryers, grills, and dishwashers.
- Possess clear, effective, and professional communication skills, reading, writing and basic math competencies, and critical thinking and reasoning skills.
- Knowledge of all menu items including seasonal promotion items.
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to adjust to changes quickly and efficiently.
- Patient, hard-working, self-motivated and committed to personal and professional development.
- Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire, and able to understand and communicate in English to some degree.
- Previous hospitality, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred but not required!
