Role Description
This role will join the Remote Overseas team and we are looking for a motivated and self-starting individual with the ability quickly respond to and troubleshoot complex network and Azure infrastructure issues for 2,000+ servers. The role will include being a point of escalation for our NOC, as well as working alongside our rapidly growing team of Cloud Engineers.
The business has well defined SLA's and KPI's in place to help you along the way. We take our work seriously, but not always ourselves. We like to have fun too!
It is important that you are a great communicator, can understand clients' needs, learn to ask the right questions and find solutions. You need the ability to take down details of issues, take action and not be fazed by the demand to handle a variety of tasks at any one time.
While there is strong back up, support and mentoring on the job. You will also have independence in getting the job done, whilst providing best practice frameworks to assist with the process.

Although CNS will help you to develop into the role that you see yourself achieving, some of the key progression pathways are to Cloud Architect, Technical Presales, Team Lead or Management, or an avenue into the security space.
What do you need?
- 5 Years MSP (at Engineer/Senior level)
- Strong Azure IaaS experience
- Strong WinTel Background
- Strong Networking Skills (Routing, Firewall, VPN, ExpressRoute, VNEET/Peering/UDR, Load Balancers)
- Highly proficient on PowerShell & DSC
- Ability to mentor and teach Jnr staff members
- Highly motivated and proven passion for continuous improvement
- Significant project resource experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and research skills
- Ability to own and deliver on complex issue resolution
- Ability to assist in scoping Azure\Infra solutions
- Create verbal and written communication
- Ability to independently work to and deliver complex solutions
- Stakeholder management
- Great interpersonal skills
- Understanding of security principals
- Solid understanding of security principles and technologies
Nice to haves!
- Current MCSE in Azure
- Experience/Certification in Citrix
- Experience/Certification in SQL
- Security qualifications/experience, specifically: Sentinel, Tenable, Defender,
- Working experience with Security frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC2Type2, HIPAA, NIST etc.
- Technical Presales experience
- 1-2 years management or team lead experience
- Azure Policy experience

Salary: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
