Drive a holistic approach to analyzing issues by ensuring all components (architecture, people, process, and technology) are identified.
Provide technical expertise, communicating with a wide range of internal and client stakeholders.
Technical point of escalation to the Support Engineering team; resolving client issues, working in collaboration with partners across the business, as required.
Build out client’s cloud environments and play a vital role in the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of production, staging, and development of AWS cloud infrastructures running in managed 24×7 environments.
Nurture cloud computing expertise internally and externally to drive our core DevOps and cloud philosophies.
Development of customer cloud strategies aligned with customer’s business objectives and with a focus on best practices aligned with our Managed Services offering.
Proficient in infrastructure-as-code languages such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
Experience working in a containerized environment.
Expert in AWS cloud services such as EC2, CloudFront, Lambda, IAM, S3, etc.
Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end-to-end cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs and recommendations.
Able to view challenges and projects from a ‘bigger-picture’ perspective. Strong attention to detail.
Able to estimate time and tasks necessary to complete a project.
Understands and can articulate technical ideas to non-technical people. Customer support experience.
Passionate about technology and a desire to continually expand technical knowledge.
Able to handle multiple tasks and manage time in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
Demonstrate proven problem-solving skills and the willingness to take ownership of an issue.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical and technical audiences.
Assist in initiatives relating to system operational enhancements, incident management, process improvement, reporting, and internal knowledge transfer.
Assist in technical mentorship efforts across the organization.
