Job description

Group Home hiring for new AWAKE position. Awake Night staff for ONE male client. He is physically and intellectually declining due to Parkinson's and Dementia. He also has Down Syndrome. He is able to walk currently, but needs assistance on stairs, getting in and out of bed, with all bathing/grooming. He is generally sleeping most of this shift, but you will assist him if/when he wakes and in getting up in the morning. In the AM you will pass medications, and begin his AM routine. (Eating, Hygiene, Dressing.)

This shift is higher pay because it is EVERY Friday night 10pm to Saturday 8am and Saturday night 8pm to Sunday 8am. (22 hours every week.) If you take this shift and any other awake is open here, you will be asked first to sub in or take it permanently.

Preferably you have MED Training, CPR, First Aid, and live within 15 minutes of the home (Little Canada). You must be able to stay awake and not work another job during the nights you are working here.

You must have a driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Training will begin asap. We would like you to take over these shifts in one week.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
