Powell's Transmission Center- Bentleyville PA has an immediate opening for an automotive mechanic. Competitive pay rates based on experience levels. Our goal is to hire a team player, willing to build their skill sets and knowledge here and help us keep customer's happy, safe and on the road.
Job Type: Full Time, Flexible 8 hour shifts
What are the requirements as an automotive technician?
- Two or moreyears of mechanic experience/education.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must own basic everyday tool set.
- Motivated to grow and expand skill set and mechanic knowledge.

As an Automotive Technicain, your duties will include:
- Inspect vehicle mechanical components as well as use diagnostic tests, such as scan tools, to find vehicle issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance work on light to medium duty cars and trucks (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, Universal joints, (etc.).
- Remove and install parts such as completed transmission units, clutches, and driveshafts efficiently.
- Keep shop clean and tools in good condition.
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions.
- Report needed inventory to management.
- Staying informed and working to keep up to date on latest technology.
