Mercedes-Benz of Boston is looking for an energetic and intelligent individual to help grow and lead our parts team into the future.
The Parts Advisor will report and work directly with our parts manager to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the parts department.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Communicate with customer on parts status
- Communicate with service and sales in a professional manner
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes to wholesale clients
- Reviews body shop estimates to ensure the ordered parts are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate
- Provides high-level service to all clients
- Fill parts orders for the workshop and wholesale clients
- Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
- Locates out-of-stock parts from an outside source and submits an emergency order
- Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on the service repair orders
- Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization
- Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
Qualifications:
- CDK experience is preferred but not required
- Have strong organizational and time management skills
