We are a fast growing company focused on building software in the vehicle diagnostic space.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced automotive diagnostician to diagnose electric and hybrid vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a particular focus on electric and hybrid systems. The candidate should be able to diagnose complex electrical and mechanical problems and work with a team of mechanics to identify the most effective repair solutions. This role will require someone who is detail-oriented, have excellent documentation skills, and can manage their workload effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electric and hybrid vehicle systems, including battery packs, electric motors, controllers, and high-voltage wiring.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electric vehicles to identify faults and issues
• Write detailed and accurate repair reports for each diagnostic session. Repair reports contain detailed information about the vehicle's condition, the diagnostic tests performed, and the recommended repairs. These reports need to be clearly communicated and structured for consumption by our channel partners.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex problems and identify solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry advancements and innovations in electric and hybrid vehicle systems.
• Strong communication skills to delegate repairs to repairmen after diagnoses are complete
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification in hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
• At least 5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
