1ST SHIFT / MONDAY-SATURDAY / START TIME 5:00 AM / 10-12 HOUR SHIFTS

We seek a reliable candidate to learn all aspects of our automated foundry machine and department.
GENERAL JOB DUTIES:
  • Have a complete understanding of how the BMM Machine operates
  • Learn how to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and maintenance
  • Learn how to pour iron into molds
  • Operate the vacuum to clean sand from the machinery and overflow areas
  • Change out patterns when needed
  • Learn how to clean molds, set cores, close and prep molds for iron
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Machine experience
  • Attention to quality requirements is essential.
  • Must be able to read, write and follow detailed instructions.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • You must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your shift.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable wearing FULL RESPIRATORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT
  • Standing and bending for long periods of time.
  • Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.
