We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and reliable people to join our fast growing, family owned business! As a Service Porter, you will be part of a team that provides an excellent customer experience in the service lane.

Responsibilities:

• Drives vehicles (automatic & standard transmission) to and from our service stalls, service lane, and within the dealership parking lot
• Performs vehicle walk-around inspection
• Prepares customer vehicle with protective items: mats, covers and tags
• Work with the service advisors to complete tasks such as keeping track of keys, cleaning cars, following dealership display standards, and fielding customer requests
• Ensure customer vehicles are clean and ready for return to customers after service department repairs
• Maintains appearance of service drive and keeps the service lot clean, neat and orderly
• Assists delivery advisor and lot staff with new and used inventory vehicles on lot to maintain dealership display standards
• May provide local transportation of customers with dealership shuttle vehicle
• Service customer needs with a positive attitude
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Unrestricted, valid NYS driver's license required
• Must be able to drive automatic and standard transmission vehicles
• Must be available to work a schedule which includes weekday and Saturday hours
• Capable of working both indoors & outdoors during all weather conditions
• Must be highly reliable and have a solid work ethic
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work for all shifts
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift up to 10 lbs. as needed. Spends 90% of time walking; 10% sitting/driving
