As an Authorization Specialist at Hopebridge, you will be responsible for obtaining reauthorizations for active patients and assisting in performing eligibility checks for ongoing patients.

What You'll Do

• Obtain reauthorizations for active patients
• Performs eligibility checks for ongoing patients
• Enter information accurately and timely
• Updates patient insurance and demographics as needed
• Submit and receive authorizations daily
• Follow and monitor specific tasks as outlined in computer workflow software; meeting deadlines with associated tasks
• Print out and assemble documents to fax to appropriate persons
• Contact physician offices and insurance offices via fax and/or phone
• Attend meetings and trainings as requested

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree in healthcare administration or related field is a plus
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills required
• Prior medical billing or insurance authorization experience preferred
• Salesforce experience preferred
• Ability to operate standard office equipment such as desktops, laptops, fax machines, telephones, and 10-keys

• Starting rate of $18.00 per hour
