Job Summary:
Installs and maintains audio and visual equipment. Set-up operate and troubleshoot all AV/projection/lighting/conferencing equipment devices and systems.
Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates equipment to enhance effects of sound and display at live events.
- Sets up lighting sound devices and video and projection devices.
- Coordinates audio with visual displays.
- Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage and operation of AV equipment up-sell different AV services and monitor equipment operation at appropriate intervals. Break-down remove and secure equipment when not in use
- Test and resolves technical issues.
- Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order.
- Oversee the set-up of AV equipment in banquet and meeting rooms.
- Communicate any additions or deletions to flowsheets to manager/supervisor.
- Works with event directors to add enhancements.
- Any other duties as assigned by manager.
