OBJECTIVE:

L&R Distributors is looking for a driven supply chain professional to assist in planning needs across all product lines and multiple warehouse and manufacturing locations. Each member of the SJ Creations team is responsible to uphold their duties along with continuing to foster an environment of teamwork. LOCATION: Encinitas, CA (Onsite Schedule)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sample processing -receiving, shipping, coordinating, testing, reviewing, marking and filing samples
  • Performing quality assurance controls on products
  • Unpacking, organizing and filing daily shipments from manufacturers and suppliers
  • Proofing & copywriting presentations and product packaging
  • Filling out detailed product information for internal document processing to ensure accurate product production
  • Auditing internal documentation to ensure accurate product information
  • Detailed product sample review -reviewing products and product photos against BOM and development paperwork
  • Communicating internally and with manufacturers using various Excel and Office Docs for tracking and commenting on a project
  • Researching and analysis on market trends in HABA product, core retailers, packaging, sustainable efforts, and more. Including visiting local retail stores, to support development of products and initiatives.
  • General Office Assistant duties - ordering & maintaining office supplies, answering customer service phone calls
  • Ability to take direction and work independently while being part of a team
  • Team player - willing to help out in other areas as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail in everything you do is critical
  • Comfortable working under pressure within tight deadlines and balancing multiple projects
  • Must be self-motivated, professional, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, service-oriented personality
  • Problem-solving and basic trouble shooting skills
  • Proficiency with common word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Punctual, dedicated, hardworking, and accountable, with a strong work ethic
  • 3 + years in-office experience

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT:

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office with a primary focus on Excel & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Project management tools like Asana, Slack
  • Knowledge of ERP software like Netsuite, SAP
  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop knowledge a plus
