Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist (Level 2) based out of Houston, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supports preparation, development, coordination, change management, and maintenance of an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
• Participates in maintaining, analyzing, and producing metrics related to plans.
• Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plans and refining the business case.
• Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates tasks/activities, to maintain status of program schedules, and comply with customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
• Coordinates and documents work statements and resulting schedules.
• Identifies and provides reports on performance variances, project status, and change information to the project/program team.
• Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience creating project schedules which identify time frames for key project milestones
• Experience managing multiple high-volume, complex, concurrent projects
• Experience in a role that requires interpersonal skills in a teaming environment where collaboration and communication are critical to the functioning of the team

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience creating integrated schedules encompassing design, manufacturing, equipment and resource requirements
• Experience in integrated scheduling, change management, program planning, project management, Industrial Engineering or Business Operations
• Experience in Milestone Professional, Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years’ related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
