Position Summary:
The Training & Talent Development Center of Excellence team is currently seeking a talented training professional who possesses the skills needed to ensure both the immediate and long-term success of our training organization. The selected candidate for this position will report into the Center of Excellence team, with the primary responsibility to develop and execute a market engagement model for the Commercial organization, applying a data driven approach to inform strategic program decisions.
Primary responsibilities:
- Work with the CoE leadership team to develop and execute a WW Commercial Learning Market Engagement Model
- In partnership with the Learning Experience Leads, drive new ways of working, governance, and communication within the CoE and with key stakeholders
- Lead market analysis and business needs assessment to identify priorities for product launches, new hire programs, skill development and other learning initiatives across the markets
- Evaluate business, digital and platform needs and formulate business requirements for prioritized projects
- Perform learning and business impact assessments for specific training and development initiatives
- Provide thought leadership with CoE partners on implementing a data-driven approach to L&D strategic decision making related to program design, execution, and evaluation
- Partner with Enterprise Learning Services (ELS) to:
- Ensure process for collecting and evaluating business requirements are consistent with ELS
- Evaluate vendor partners for Commercial use with an Enterprise mindset
- Partner across WCC and other Engagement Leads to identify synergies and collaborate across our markets and stakeholder groups.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional work experience in field learning and development
- 2+ years of people management experience required
- Global Experience strongly preferred
- Digital Solutions Experience preferred
- Strong scientific mindset with focus on evidence-based evaluation strategies and data-driven decisions
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Demonstrated ability to perform needs and task analysis, stakeholder impact assessment, and formulate business requirements documentation aligned with market-specific needs
- Applied understanding of Systems Thinking, Root Cause Analysis, and Problem-Solving Methodologies to recommend learning solutions to complex performance challenges
- Experience operating in a complex cross-matrix environment and effectively connecting and collaborating with key matrix team members including Marketing, Sales Operations, Commercial Sales, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, & Compliance
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in education, learning sciences, instructional technology, or related field and/or equivalent experience
- Travel 25%
