Overview:
The Associate Creative Director/Copywriter will be responsible for developing, writing, and transforming concepts into creative solutions, managing creative teams, and ensuring brand objectives are achieved.

The Associate Creative Director/Copywriter, reporting to the Creative Director, will help lead the creative conceptual capabilities for the in-house creative agency supporting our Quaker business (Quaker Hots, Quaker Chewy, Cap’n Crunch, Quaker RTE, Roni, Cheetos Mac ‘n Cheese, Chewy Bars, Pearl Milling Company, and Lite Snacks). This role’s creative deliverables include brand campaigns, brand activations, creative execution, digital content, and creative inspiration for the team. The ACD/Copywriter manages direct reports, multiple projects simultaneously and production partners.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of concepts, strategies, and client presentations
  • Reports to and works closely with the Creative Director
  • Manage and supervise multiple projects and teams (both internal and external)
  • Ensure the team has appropriate resources dedicated to the individual projects
  • Meet brand objectives
  • Ensure creative product adheres to best practices across media and platforms
  • Ensures top-tier creative output that adheres to brand standards
  • Lead brainstorm sessions
  • Collaborates with account team to develop timelines
  • Shares and develops work with Creative Director, internal agency team partners, brand team, other stakeholders
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $105,000-$130,000 based on a full-time schedule
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility;
    • Target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-10 years of experience as a copywriter developing creative and social media campaigns (agency and/or brand side)
  • Strong conceptual thinking and platform development experience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with brand teams
  • Strong problem-solving, communications, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to motivate others to creatively and strategically solve problems under quick timelines
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud & Microsoft Office
  • Strong creative portfolio, available online
  • Experience in CPG a plus
