Lynnette E. Brennan, Attorney at Law, a well-established, growing law firm in Ocean County, New Jersey, seeks an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years' experience in elder law, estate planning and trusts, probate and administration, guardianship, Medicaid planning and residential real estate transactions.

Qualified candidate is a self-starter with strong communication, analytic, and organizational skills. The successful candidate will also have a strong moral and ethical compass and the patience and compassion needed to work with elderly clients. The ability to work as a team member is critical.

Qualified candidate should have some experience with most aspects of estate planning, including planning for persons with special needs, probate and administration proceedings, estate and trust accounting, as well as have an underlying understanding of general Elder Law and Medicaid. Training is available to the appropriate candidate.

Work responsibilities will include client interviews, developing estate plans including preparing and executing legal documents, creating plans and preparing applications to achieve Medicaid eligibility, handling all facets of a real estate transaction, from contract to closing, and the preparation and execution for guardianship.

Candidates will need to provide a resume. Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
