Scooter’s Coffee Assistant Manager Position
We are looking for leaders with outgoing, energetic, and friendly personalities. Those that exude positivity, enjoy interacting with other people, and have proven leadership skills. You bring the personality and leadership; we will teach you all about coffee!
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in a variety of operations duties including staffing, sales, and operations. This role assists in hiring, training, mentoring, and leading a friendly, guest focused barista team. The Assistant Manager helps set a high-energy work pace, driving sales, and exemplifying the core values of Integrity, Love, Humility, and Courage.
Starting Wage: $36,000 annually (plus quarterly Performance Bonuses!)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter’s “Amazing” customer service experience
Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush
Assist the Store Manager in interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members
Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce or improve performance
Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales
Ensure all cash handling, point of sale system, safety, and operational procedures are performed in an accurate, consistent manner
Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Leading and ensuring completion of all opening and closing procedures
Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability
Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as requested
Mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays expected
Key Competencies
Ability to complete 4 weeks training in Omaha, NE (flight, car, and accommodations covered)
