Key Accountabilities:

• Provide technical on-site assistance on projects to superintendent in the field
• Identify conflicts between specs and drawings and present solutions
• Draft RFIs
• Provide input for job costs reviews and updating
• Draft Change orders for Project Manager review
• Perform submittal review
• Assist superintendent in field verifying dimensions and with layout
• Manage the Risk Log
• Maintain professional relationships with all project stakeholders.
• Review project meeting minutes for accuracy
• Identify Safety hazard onsite and inform superintendent or competent person
• Report to VP, Plant. Work under general direction.

Requirements:

Education/Certifications:

• BS in Construction Management, Allied Field, Engineering or Equivalent Experience
• OSHA 30 Required

Experience:

• Project Assistant: 7 years
• Senior Project Assistant: 2 years
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Mechanical, Architectural, Civil and Structural drawings
• General understanding of wastewater process and typical water and wastewater equipment (examples: clarifiers, filters, UV, blowers, aeration systems, mixers, gates, metals, structural steel)
• Good scheduling and costing skills.
