The complete one stop shop, Appliances, Cabinetry, Doors & Door Hardware, Lighting, Slab, Tile, & Wood Flooring. We currently have 3 physical locations throughout the North-West Region however our business is now rapidly expanding across America and the Caribbean with our proprietary state of the art software solution.

Job Summary
The Assistant Project Manager will work with the Development Team to successfully oversee Earth Element’s expansive portfolio of projects throughout the country. This individual will help the Development Team grow revenues by successfully interacting with potential and current clients, inside and outside the organization, through personal interaction, email, video communications and over the phone. This person will assist the development team with strategy and implementation for generating new business, maintaining existing relationships and following up with inside sales, sales development, and logistics team to ensure we are meeting and exceeding our clients’ expectations. Additionally, the Assistant Project Manager will help the development team to maximize sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, internal and external expense control and managing operating costs.
Job Description
- Assists with all development bids and estimates as directed by the Project Managers; includes assignment of bids to divisions, follow-up with divisions to ensure receipt prior to deadline, sending bids or estimates and supporting documentation to the appropriate contacts.
- Work with the development team to maintain pipelines for all departments and provide up-to-date reports to the CEO for accurate forecasting.
- Assist with establishing strong relationships with Builders, Designers, Developers and Architects related to ongoing or potential developments.
- High emphasis placed on sales development; brainstorming and implementing strategies to promote growth in new and existing markets.
- Maintain current literature containing product offerings and project guidelines using Adobe InDesign and similar programs.
- Work with the Project Managers to maintain existing relationships as well as seek out new relationship opportunities.
- Resolve issues in a timely, organized, and professional fashion both independently and as a team.
- Continually expanding your professional and technical knowledge base by staying up-to-date on supplier offerings, reviewing professional publications and participating in tradeshows or conferences.
- Assist with any division expansion by working closely with the Development Team to ensure budget and scheduling priorities are accomplished.
- Assist with organization and showroom displays and samples, to ensure all products are up to date and presented in a clean and professional manner. This includes, but is not limited to, displaying new products and keeping up on current items, ensuring displays are not damaged, preparing and shipping client sample packages.
- General administrative and logistical support for Project Managers and CEO.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures within the company handbook.
Safety
- Participates in developing and updating safety policies and procedures as it relates to the development team.
- Maintains a safe work environment and notifies the appropriate parties of any safety or maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
- Notifies the HR Manager of any work-related incidences to ensure that proper safety procedures are followed.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, etc. Primarily inside in well-lighted, well-ventilated areas, but can at times be outside in external environments.

This is a sedentary role; however, lifting of 25 pounds with occasional lifting of small objects and samples; sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and finger dexterity.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position 40 hour / week position. Mandatory hours of work are Monday through Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; additional hours and schedule changes as need for business purposes.
Travel
Travel is primarily local, up to 2 hour driving distance during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, per insurance eligibility requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Sales or business development capacity, preferred
- Experience in the building and/or construction industry, preferred
- Good analytical skills, the ability to create compelling solutions that meet clients’ needs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information and respond to questions from individuals in one-on-one settings
- Excellent computer skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and variable environment
- Clean driving record, able to meet insurability qualifications
