TITLE: Safety Town Assistant
STATUS: Non-exempt, seasonal position, 30-40 hrs/week, May/June through mid-August, Monday-Friday.
SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Recreation Specialist and Safety Town Director this employee will plan, supervise, and participate in activities. While administering a safe, fun, and educational program for children entering kindergarten.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma.
EXPERIENCE: Preferred experience one year experience working with children in a group stetting. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to and from the work sites. Certification of Basic First Aid and Adult & Child CPR with optional AED. If not already certified the classes will be offered as part of our training.
COMPENSATION: Starting range: $14/hour
