The Department of Psychology at Saint Anselm College, a Roman Catholic undergraduate liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition in Manchester, NH invites applications for a full-time, one-year position at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 2023. The Department, consisting of seven faculty members has a strong tradition of excellence in teaching and research and is housed in a unified science building including laboratory spaces for human psychophysiology, observation, and rodent models.

The successful candidate will teach some combination of courses in behavioral neuroscience, a topical course in the candidates specialty area, and core courses for both Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience majors such as general psychology and research methods. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester (fall and spring).

Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability, and academic transcripts to the attention of Dr. Elizabeth Rickenbach, Search Committee Chair via the college website. Three letters of recommendation are required and should be submitted in PDF format via email to the department faculty assistant, Loraine Hobausz at (lhobausz@anselm.edu). A Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience, Psychology, or related field is preferred. Candidates who are ABD will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level as well as scholarly research.
