Assistant Director of Nursing / Resident Care Coordinator
Job description
Assists the Director of Nursing in organizing, directing and overseeing the Nursing Department. Supervises the Nursing staff in the implementation of Care Plans, physician orders, consultant recommendations, rehabilitative and restorative programs and daily resident care. Reviews physician, consultant, nurse and other daily notations to insure implementation and follow-up. Observes, assesses and evaluates residents for condition changes and daily care needs.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience, preferably in a Long Term Care setting
- A general knowledge of State and Federal regulations is necessary
- Previous supervisory experience is helpful
