The Assistant Director of Name, Image and Likeness reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director, Compliance & Student-Athlete Services. The major duties include serving 650 undergraduate student-athletes across twenty-five sports, coaches, staff and other key stakeholders on University resources, policies, and requirements pertaining to name, image and likeness ("NIL"). Communicating with and guiding student-athletes, DIA coaches and staff, as needed through a variety of NIL inquiries; and collaborating with multiple campus partners and within Athletics to develop and implement a comprehensive NIL program that ensures all student-athletes have the ability to maximize on their NIL opportunities. The incumbent is responsible for evaluating program needs and effectiveness to contribute to long-range planning of services.

Additional duties may include serving on Compliance and Student-Athlete Services committee groups, delivering ongoing education to student-athletes via student-athlete meetings and mid-year orientations, and other duties as assigned by Senior Associate Athletic Director, Sport Administration and Governance and Assistant Athletic Director, Compliance & Student-Athlete Services.

This position will comply with department, university, conference, NCAA, and state regulations in all activities.

Required/Preferred

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Required

Ability to work in a fast paced, multi layered business organization with a variety of constituents and colleagues both in the department, on campus, and outside the organization.

Ability to interact diplomatically with individuals of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.

Incumbent must be able to effectively communicate and work cooperatively with other University departments in a complex administrative environment.

Capability to work independently and prioritize assignments in a manner accurately reflecting the relative importance of job responsibilities without constant supervision.

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and collaborate with coaches, staff, administrators, and campus community.

Experience with University, PAC-12, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Strong aptitude in using various software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
