Baptist Village of Owasso is seeking a positive, servant-minded individual to serve with our residents and Friends Team.

Requirements:

• Must have a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Oklahoma
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Long Term Care experience
• Adaptable to change with a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Assists with implementing and revising nursing care policies and procedures when necessary.
• Evaluate nurse aide performance and counsel or instruct as needed.
• Verify narcotic count periodically.
• Follow up on all changes in resident’s condition.
• Schedule and assist with in-service training programs. Responsible for First Aide and CPR Classes and other topics requested by DON
• Reviews rehabilitation goals and progress of residents monthly with DON and brings pertinent information to Care Plan Meetings.
• Help maintain the self-respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each resident. Visit each resident personally as often as possible.
• Assist with wound care round and documentation
• Supervise rehabilitation and restorative program
• Train all staff on use of lifts and other equipment for their safety. Enforce the use of lifts to transfer and move residents.
• Be in oncall rotation
• Be acting Director of Nurses in absent of DON

Schedule:

• Days M-F
• On-Call Rotation
• As needed
