Assembler
Location- Brookston, IN
Pro Resources is currently seeking an experienced Assembler to join our team at Terra Drive Systems. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling and testing hydraulic drive axles for combines and front wheel drive assist axles for medium to heavy-duty trucks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in mechanical assembly, be detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
Assemble hydraulic drive axles and front wheel drive assist axles using hand and power tools.
Test and troubleshoot assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards.
Record assembly and test results
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in mechanical assembly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
