Advance Pump & Equipment, Inc. leads the industry with more than 30 years of custom design and manufacturing experience of vacuum tank trucks and trailers. We collaborate directly with each customer to gain an understanding of their needs and provide the highest quality product on the market. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Service Technician to join our team.

Our Mechanical Service Technicians are required to:

• Assist in all phases of mounting a vacuum tank body to a truck chassis.
• Use and control a variety of hand tools.
• Successfully work in a team environment with a common goal
• Have MIG & TIG welding experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Reach, lift, kneel, walk, and stand for several hours at a time
• Be energetic and willing to dig into projects and do what is necessary to accomplish the mission.
• Pay attention to details and perform tasks accurately.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up items up to 75 pounds
• Undergo a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Experience:

• At least 1 - 2 years prior work experience working with truck equipment.
• With exposure to mechanical work, we are open to training the right applicant.
• Experience or exposure to truck body equipment/hydraulic & electrical design a plus
• Backgrounds in heavy-duty truck and/or agricultural equipment also desired.
• Must have good work references and show good past job history
• Welding experience and/or knowledge is a plus.

This is a Full-Time position (40-45 hours a week). All employees are paid weekly. Starting wage is between $22-$26 per hour depending on experience and education.
