Art Production Assistant

Growing family-owned pastel manufacturing company located in Littleton, Colorado seeking full or part-time Art Production Assistant. We have been in business since 2005 and produce 750 unique pastel colors. Pastels are manufactured by hand on location and sold to artists and distributors throughout the United States and internationally. We are looking for someone detail oriented that enjoys working with their hands, is comfortable working in a messy environment and doing repetitive work.

Responsibilities

• Prepping work stations and removing product from drying units
• Sanding product
• Shaping product into final form
• Maintaining highest quality standards
• Identifying any issues with product
• Able to work efficiently and effectively to meet high demand for products
• Helping in other areas of the business as needed
• Training provided

Skills

• Self-motivated. We are a growing company which keeps us moving. We need someone who can keep up and stay focused while doing repetitive tasks.
• Art background with strong knowledge of color is beneficial
• Passion for the art industry a plus
• Comfortable working in team environment as well as ability to work independently
• Strong work ethic
• Physical strength and stamina, ability to carry and lift up to 30 lbs
• Great communication skills
• Dependable

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license
• High school diploma required
• Experience in manufacturing/production not required but is helpful
• Art, baking or other creative background is a strong bonus

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
