OpenShift Architect – 8 to 14 years Exp

Seeking a Redhat OpenShift Architect to work closely with our prominent customers on Enterprise containers platform. This role has high visibility across Enabling Delivery units. We are looking for candidates with a strong vision for embracing disrupting technologies specifically in the digital transformations focusing on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Candidates should also have the application down approach to come up with strong solutions for customers requirement.

As an Architect- OpenShift (Redhat), the candidate is responsible for the following.

· Architect, Design and implement experience on enterprise PaaS solutions based on RedHat OpenShift on variety of on-prem & cloud platforms like, OpenStack, VMware, Public Cloud, Azure, AWS, ARO, ROSA etc.

· Ability to design High available, multi cloud and split cluster based on OpenShift environment.

· Must have strong experience in OCP (OpenShift), Redhat, Virtualization (KVM), VMware etc.

· A minimum of 8+ years of experience with complex/large enterprise in a customer-facing positions as a technology Consultant/Architect / Engineer.

· Excellent knowledge of Redhat Linux specifically RHEL 7.x, 8.x, 9 and CoreOS.

· Experience in deployment of latest version of OpenShift with CoreOS as the operating system.

· Good knowledge / Experience on Container native storage such as Ceph/Gluster/OCS etc.

· Experience in migration from 3.x to 4.x of OpenShift container platform will be added advantage.

· Strong experience in OCP (OpenShift) ecosystem tools implementation & Integration with ITSM, Security tools like Twistlock, Aquasec, Sysdig, ACS stackrox, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk etc.

· Good hands-on understanding on Virtualization, Container native storage, ODF etc.

· Good understanding of networking of OpenShift on SDNs of the like ACI, NSX-T, Kubernetes OVN, cluster & resource management.

· Good understanding of Hybrid Cloud and MultiCloud deployment architectures and requirements.

· Good understanding of Ansible tool to write and update existing playbooks. Bring about automation in customer environment over and above those surrounding container platform.

· Some hands-on experience on GitOps for platform and application deployment.

· Good exposure to DevOps principles, CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools stack.

· Assist in migrations and assessment of applications written in different languages/technologies (Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.)/WAS, WebLogic to Open-source solution involving Docker or Kubernetes Frameworks

· Should have basic understanding in Java, and basic design and development knowledge of Micro services using any framework like Spring Boot, Nodes, etc.

· Build relationships with customers and vendors with strategic partnerships to lead the solutions.

Education Qualification/Requirements

· Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science or other relevant streams.

· Certifications in OpenShift (Required)

· At least 2~3 production clusters design & implementation with ecosystem tools integrations.

· At least one public cloud computing related certification (Preferred)

Professional Experience Requirements

· 6-10 years of experience in a customer-facing positions as a technology Consultant/hands on Architect

· 4+ years’ experience on OpenShift or related technologies with hands on experience.

· Familiar with industry best practices and fluent in explaining the same to customers.

· Experience/Knowledge on micro services deployments and auto Scaling. Excellent knowledge of application development tools and software life cycle processes.

· Must Have Hands on experience on OpenShift or Kubernetes set up installation & administration.

· Quick learner and ability to present solutions and complex technical aspects to different levels of audiences.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate at different management levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,463.00 - $133,951.63 per year
