Apriso Support Engineer

Position: Senior Apriso Developer

Reporting to: IT Development Manager

Position Overview:

Develops and maintains the business, manufacturing, and engineering application programs and systems that enable the company's business processes. Will review, analyze, implement, and modify systems through planning, programming, installing, testing, and debugging applications to support the company’s business, manufacturing, and engineering processes that enable our business. This position will also collaborate with business analysts, other systems analysts, and users to identify improvements and implement project objectives.

Responsibilities:
Technical – Professional
1. Works closely with key business and information technology stakeholders to develop application architecture to improve business processes, drive revenue growth and operational excellence.
2. Works with internal customers to foster and grow the company’s adoption of technology to optimize standard work and enable data driven decisions.
3. Has a thorough understanding of the business process and flow to enable functional requirements analysis and the development of solutions for the business functions.
4. Participates in the evaluation and implementation of third-party software systems applications.
5. Develops application systems that are cost effective and flexible in design.
6. Manages daily application health, including system uptime, responsiveness, break/fix issues and approved requests.
7. Provides technical support as a member of the Application Help Desk in an on-call rotation.
8. Provides technical support to manufacturing operations in an on-call rotation.
9. Uses knowledge to support the corporate and business unit's IT and business strategies.
10. Works with the business unit and enterprise community to anticipate future information needs and incorporate them into the design process.
11. Understands and can demonstrate key concepts related to SDLC in both custom applications and third-party software applications.
12. Coach and mentor other developers and analysts on best practice and development fundamentals.

Manufacturing experience required.

• Bachelor's degree required, master’s preferred in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science
• Basic job standards include: basic computer skills, ability to follow written instructions, MS Office proficient.
• SKILLS: Good listening, written and verbal communication skills; analytical and detail oriented; excellent web development skills; strong design and development skills; excellent skills in UI design; experience developing applications within a structured development methodology; an understanding of the basic business functions for the served area; solid business analysis skills
