Role Overview:
The Info Sec Tech Lead Analyst is a senior level professional position responsible for driving efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls and for the supported groups
- Resolve any vulnerabilities or issues detected in an application or infrastructure
- Analyze source code to mitigate identified weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the system
- Review and validate automated testing results and prioritize actions that resolve issues based on overall risk
- Scan and analyze applications with automated tools, and perform manual testing if necessary
- Reduce risk by analyzing the root cause of issues, their impact, and required corrective actions
- Direct the development and delivery of secure solutions by coordinating with business and technical contacts
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Significant relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and software
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Proven influencing and relationship management skills
- Proven analytical skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred

- Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 production support for the application.
- Oversees resolution of major system outages ensuring communication to interested parties.
- Act as a liaison between users, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors.
- Provides technical oversight across systems and applications; leverages skills across apps support area.
- Work with cross-functional teams on product development from planning, requirement gathering, development, testing, and production deployment.
- Write use cases, Business requirements documents and develop service strategy for business.
- Prioritize and maintain the product backlog.
- Mentor the Level 2 support team on the business requirements and assist in creating user stories in JIRA.
- Work with offshore testing team to review test scenarios and end results.
- Create and maintain end user training documentation.
- Handle the annual COB test for FEMA Application and DB servers globally.
- Write SQL queries to generate the required data for audit requests and client deliverables.
- Generate customized reports for end users, internal support teams and compliance teams.
- Identify areas for automation and service improvement and work with the stakeholders to implement accordingly.
- Troubleshoot database/application performance issues with DBA’s and Engineering.
- Coordinate with DBA’s and Engineering for deployments to UAT and Production environments.
- Handle webserver and DB server upgrades for FEMA.
- Liaise with service management and risk team and handle audit presentations.
- Oversees process for technical issue escalation; prioritizes technical issue resolution.
- Active involvement in and ownership of Support Project items, covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives.
- Applies good understanding of concepts and procedures within own apps support area to resolve issues.
- Responsible for delivery of end results and contributes to planning, budget management and formulation of procedures which directly impacts the apps support area; influences resource planning.
- Participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production.
- Perform post release checkouts after application releases and infrastructure updates.
- Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years experience in Technical Apps Support role with experience in tools like Service Now and JIRA
- SQL scripting
- Participated in User Acceptance Testing
- Experience with real-time monitoring systems
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Must show confidence in all communications so that key stake holders are not doubtful of the information being communicated
- Effective prioritization skills and high energy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, great teammate
- Issue tracking and reporting using tools
- Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
- Ability to plan and organize workload
