The Maintenance Apprenticeship Program is a six-week program that is designed to train aspiring maintenance professionals, with little or no experience, for a career in the apartment industry. This program consists of in-class and paid on-site training. Both parts work simultaneously over a six-week period to prepare the student for a career in maintenance. Students work on-site Monday-Thursday and receive hands-on maintenance education in class on Fridays. The goal of this program is to provide individuals with a full time job and career opportunity at the completion of the program.

Location

The in-class training portion (Fridays) of the program will be held at the AAMD HOME Room located at 7100 E. Belleview Ave. Suite 305, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.

Students will be assigned to a participating apartment community that is closest to their residence for the apprenticeship on first-come, first-served basis.

Schedule
The in-class training will be held on Fridays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The apprenticeship will take place between Monday and Thursday. The student work hours will vary and will be coordinated with the apartment community. Work hours will be 32 hours per week during the apprenticeship portion.

• January 20 | In-person training begins (10:30am-5:00pm)
• January 23 | On-site Apprenticeship begins
• February 24| Graduation
• February 24 | Apprenticeship ends
