Almond Ace Packing is a grower-owned processing and export company located in Ripon, California. We pride ourselves on being an award-winning processor and exporter of high-quality almonds. We are looking for a dynamic Production Supervisor to join our team.

Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Production Supervisor assists in the planning, directing, and coordinating of the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with quality and quantity specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
• Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
• Confer with Leads to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
• Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers.
• Evaluate employee performance.
• Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.

• Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
• Set up and adjust machines and equipment.
• Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
• Assist in developing or implementing production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports to detect production problems.
• Prepare and maintain production reports.
• Maintain current knowledge of the quality control field, relying on current literature pertaining to materials use, technological advances, or statistical studies.
• Assist in conducting site audits to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist in implementing operational and emergency procedures.
• Assist in maintaining records to demonstrate compliance with safety and environmental laws, regulations, or policies.

Education and Experience
§ 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
§ Bilingual Spanish
§ Associate’s Degree preferred

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, must have a strong working knowledge of the following:
· Microsoft Office Suite**
· Nutware **
· QuickBooks (preferred)**

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations. Exceptional organization skills required. Ability to recognize and resolve problems quickly using sound judgement and diplomacy. Ability to speak, give instruction and write in Spanish.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, use repetitive motion, type, use ten key, and keyboard. The employee is frequently required to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving material and manipulating things. The employee is required to stand and walk for long periods of time and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
