Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking an experienced medical professional to join our Admitting Team.The Admitting Specialist will:
Interact with patients, patient's families, doctors, fellow employees and vendors.
Pre-admits/admits patients and maintains patient’s records.
Completes admissions paperwork and reviews all patient forms with patient/responsible party and secures the necessary signatures.
Obtains insurance cards and confirms demographic information of patients on arrival.

Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of hospital or medical office experience preferred.
Ability to use time wisely in preparing work area to meet high-paced demand.
Detail oriented.
Able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional manner.
Must know insurance verification and collection processes.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.
Schedule:
32-40 hours a week, depending on candidate preference
11:00am - 6pm Monday - Friday
No weekends!
