Posting Summary
Provides operational administrative support and facilitation for the Admissions Committee, Interview Days, and the Associate Dean of Admissions. Serves as the liaison for the team for initiating and responding to inquiries, resolving issues, ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency, tracking financial expenditures, coordinating the Admissions calendar and events schedule, and updating the Admissions website.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate’s Degree and three years of administrative experience required. Effective organizational, planning and communication skills required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, spreadsheet applications including pivot table, word processing and calendar applications.

Desirable Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and Admissions experience preferred. Working knowledge of Access, and financial tracking a plus. Project management experience is desirable.

Other Information
Some evening and weekend work may be requested to accommodate special events or programs.

Special Conditions
A probationary period may be required, Occasional overtime/weekend hours required, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Bargaining unit position, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
