Major/Essential Functions

Develop and prepare contracts, amendments, and solicitations by identifying provider resources, describing services to be rendered, and information supplied by stakeholders
Assist in the timely response to user inquiries, training requests, and functionality utilization related to the contracting system, contracting inbox and related online resources
Purchasing Duties: Review, complete and approve Techbuy requisitions, change orders, and purchase inquiries as submitted and assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in area of expertise or closely related area required. Three years of experience in planning, developing, or implementing programs/projects or research grants. Additional education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Public Purchasing Experience
Holder of State or National Purchasing/Contracting Certification

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
