Job description
Compass for Affordable Housing is hiring an assistant coordinator. The role will work closely with the company executive director in many aspects including recruitment, consultant management, scheduling etc. We are looking for someone who is creative and a strong writer. Someone who is confident in their ability to assist in on-line research for benefits and volunteer opportunities. Someone who is organised, and has experience working for a nonprofit or would like to.

Tasks to include:
Assistance in hiring and managing consultants and payroll.
Recruitment and coordination of volunteers.
Aid in seeking financial sources including grant research and application of.
Daily tasks such as management of social media and company blog.
General admin tasks including paperwork, emails, etc.
May require local travel (use of vehicle for work would be reimbursed).
This is a part time, contracted position starting at $18 an hour, M-F at 30 hours a week. Position offers a flex schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday work in office, and Wednesday, Friday the option to work remote. Our office is located in Sabre Springs SD. We are looking to hire for this position as soon as possible.
