LOCATION: Oak Ridge, TN
SALARY RANGE: $11.54 to $15.44 an hour
PURPOSE:
- Responsible for assisting in digitization of permanent tier paper records, including removing staples and scanning a set amount of record boxes each week. Perform manual loading, cleaning, and operation of the Kodak scanner. Conduct quality checks on scanned materials.
- Provide support to the Records Management Team Lead and Senior Administrative Clerk. Assist with Records deliveries and pickups, maintain the order of the Records Holding Center and other various fleet movement tasks.
- Provide mail services and shipping/receiving operations support, including sorting, metering, postage, delivery and pickup, entering receivables data into ORACLE, processing inbound packages for internal deliveries, and assisting customers with questions and problems concerning mail services.
- Provide administrative support to the Logistics Manager as requested.
This position must follow all Facilities and Transportation Department (FTD) Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), policies and procedures, internal job aids, and daily directions given by the Records Property and Relocation Services (RPRS) and Transportation Services (TS) Manager.
- Must be able to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Must have good customer service techniques with demonstrated organizational skills.
- Must be an effective communicator when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Must have the ability to identify problems and report them to management.
- Must have a valid Tennessee Driver’s license to operate government/corporate vehicles and pass a driving record background check.
- Must be able to complete the ORAU Motor Vehicle Safety Program.
- Must display strong attention to detail.
The candidate’s starting salary will be determined upon hire and ORAU will use salary survey data, internal comparators, and the candidate’s qualifications to determine salary.
