The Role

Responsible for executing scheduling for Legends. Prepare all required departmental correspondence and documents in a timely manner. Provide accurate and detailed reports to facilitate proper allocation of staffing, time and resources during events. Ensure compliance with Legends Hospitality Management Operating Standards to maintain brand integrity.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for executing accounting and scheduling for Legends. Prepare all required departmental correspondence and documents in a timely manner. Provide accurate and detailed reports to facilitate proper allocation of staffing, time and resources during events. Ensure compliance with Legends Hospitality Management Operating Standards to maintain brand integrity.


This position performs a variety of administrative and operational functions in support of the venue team.

  • Align with the General Manager to schedule the appropriate amount of staff for each event.
  • Assist in recruiting and hiring of staff.
  • Responsible for communicating all information for a function to the employees to include report time, uniform requirements, and responsibilities.
  • Ensure employees have fulfilled required trainings and comply with federal and state laws.
  • Assign concession staff to appropriate location on event day.
  • Data Entry as needed for month end and year end reports.
  • Assist with closing shift duties.
  • Maintain a variety of files and records of information (e.g. attendance, event files, vendor files, employee files, etc.).
  • Process invoices for payment to vendors by checking invoices for accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and entering data into system. Will analyze/review vendors statements for accuracy and resolve problems.
  • Maintain and order all necessary supplies and materials for the office.
  • Provide routine information regarding events, operations, policies and procedures for various operations within the unit.
  • This position will incorporate duties of other positions, including, but not limited to: Accounting Clerk and Payroll Clerk.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.



Qualifications:


  • Associates Degree or two years of accounting experience required.
  • Previous experience in staffing required.
  • Work independently, exercising judgment, and initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Excel proficiency required for this position.
  • Ability to participate in a team environment.
  • Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate same with others.
  • Mobility is needed to attend various meetings and events.
  • Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel to our second venue in Irving may be required.
