Responsibilities:

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking an Administrative Assistant ( in-office) within our ALI Americas group.

The ideal candidate will provide the first impression for all visitors and employees in the Houston office and will operate as the primary support assistant for all reception/concierge functions on a daily basis. They will be responsible for interacting with guests and employees by providing information, services and general administrative tasks on a professional level in a corporate environment to also include serving as the primary phone switchboard operator.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or coursework completed in Business or another related field is strongly desired.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of previous office experience
  • Proven experience in customer service is required along with the ability to demonstrate excellent organizational, communication skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience working as an administrative assistant or receptionist in a corporate environment is required
  • Detail oriented and organized as duties for this opportunity will be ever changing
  • Computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Teams as well as the ability to learn new applications, is required
  • Coordinate with other administrative assistants within the organization to book conference rooms for events, training, meetings, etc.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of employee engagement events
  • Assist with catering for lunch meetings as needed
  • Candidate should be confident and resourceful and should possess excellent verbal communication skills
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimum direction
