Overview

Phoenixville Hospital is seeking an experienced Critical Care Advanced Practitioner to join the very experienced & collaborative team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The position is an overnight position (0.9 FTE) with excellent support staff available. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Critical Care environment and be comfortable functioning in a high acuity, high volume ICU.

Phoenixville Hospital is your community healthcare provider; a 144-bed facility providing comprehensive medical services through approximately 25,000 emergency room visits, 8,200 inpatient admissions, and more than 500 community outreach programs annually. We have a fully developed Total Joint Program already in place which received Joint Commission Advanced Accreditation for Hip and Knee Replacement with a full-time nurse practitioner dedicated to managing and caring for total joint patients and a Top 10% Nationally Ranked Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation unit in the facility. Phoenixville Hospital has the largest Robotic Surgery Center in the area, an award-winning cardiovascular program, a fully accredited cancer center, NAPBC-accredited breast health center, and an acute inpatient rehabilitation center. Phoenixville Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and has been recognized for its quality outcomes and clinical expertise across services lines that include joint replacement surgery, advanced heart failure care, and the designation as a Primary Stroke Center.

Job Summary

The Advanced Practitioner must be experienced working in a Critical Care environment, and deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for the critically ill patient population. The CRNP/PA will function as a clinical expert for this population and will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary and interprofessional team to coordinate and deliver all aspects of care.

• Central line, Aline insertion, Hemodynamic monitoring experience preferred
• Night shift (7 PM-7AM)

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Must hold and maintain a current Pennsylvania license as a Physician Assistant and or Nurse Practitioner.
• Critical Care experience is required
