Sandpiper Post Acute is a magnificent 176 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Successful candidates will have:
- 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care or a similar healthcare field is preferred
- 1 year of experience as Activities Assistant (Preferred)
- High school diploma
- An understanding of the challenges facing our clients
- Ability to help plan and take part in fun activities for our residents
- Ability to work 10am - 7pm)
The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program. This must be done in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident
