The AFRL Materials and Manufacturing Directorate seeks to hire a motivated and experienced mid-level program manager in the Plans and Programs Branch of the Integration and Operations Division. This position will be filled at the DR-II level and is located at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead a broad range of corporate research procurement activities.
- Manage all phases of engagement and collaboration research projects with advancing diverse institutions and developing students and interns.
- Provides oversight and management support to the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
- Build relationships with research sponsors through all phases of research project evolution while leveraging available corporate contract options.
- Coordinate research and development efforts for RX in core technology areas and directly advise Chief Scientist office.
- Initiate outreach with local area academia, research scientists and engineers.
- Serve as liaison for summer student poster session highlighting research efforts of students working with scientists and engineers.

Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Secret designation. Candidate must have or be able to obtain a security clearance.
- Possess a professional science or engineering (S&E) degree, in a relevant technical field, from an accredited (or ABET accredited for engineering) academic institution
- Must have met requirements for Level 1 (Foundational) APDP certification in Engineering & Technical Management, or be capable of meeting the requirements within 5 years.
