Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist who is ready to take the driver's seat and manage the process? If so, we want you to join our team!

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will not only drive collections, billing, and accounts receivable processes, but you will also support general accounting functions. You will have the opportunity to manage the entire process to ensure peak performance.

We are looking for a candidate who is skilled in soft collections, which involves using a client-centric approach to communicate and resolve payment issues.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and reconcile client accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of payments.
• Maintain up-to-date records of client payments and follow up on overdue accounts using a soft collections approach.
• Generate and distribute invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner, including fixed fee and time & material billing.
• Analyze and resolve billing discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient accounts receivable processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers regarding billing inquiries and disputes.
• Support general accounting functions, including accounts payable, account reconciliations and month end close.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or billing
• Proven ability to manage the entire accounts receivable process using a customer-centric approach.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
• Willingness to work additional hours when needed.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
