Our client seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their data-driven and focused team. This team needs someone who is energized by high volume work and seizing opportunities to collaborate. LOCATION: Vancouver, WA
SALARY: $25.00 - 28.00 per hour
SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Direct-Hire
INDUSTRY: Medical Testing
THE ROLE
Your day-to-day work will include processing monthly recurring payables, completing credit applications, and analyzing financial information. If you are dedicated to critical thinking, open and clear communication, and using math to solve problems, you will thrive in this role! Drug screen and background check required upon acceptance of offer.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately process accounts payable, expense reports, POs, and credit card transactions
- Promptly investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Process wire transfers and check runs in accounting system
- Manage cash flow and petty cash documentation
SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
- One to three years of accounting experience
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Aptitude for complex problem-solving using logic and reasoning
- Proficiency in MS Office with comfort using Excel, 10-Key Data Entry, and QuickBooks
