Your Job:

Cellofoam is seeking an Accounting Systems Manager to implement, maintain and administer accounting systems and related accounting systems software and applications as well as develop, administer, and maintain controls and standard operating procedures related to accounting systems.

• Analyze accounting systems to determine the need for adjustments or replacement.
• Confer with accounting systems users about how to solve existing system problems and make system improvements.
• Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.
• Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
• Review records or reports to verify details, monitor work activities, or evaluate performance.
• Give input on employment decisions.
• Assists with accounting close cycles.
• Train or instruct employees in the use of accounting systems.
• Implement corporate or departmental policies, procedures, and service standards related to accounting systems.
• Coordinate activities with other supervisory personnel or with other work units or departments.
• Make recommendations to management concerning such issues as staffing decisions or procedural changes.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

• Successful applicants will have five or more years as a Staff Accountant as well as experience with multiple accounting programs and how they can be leveraged to advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline
