CSL Staffing is hiring for an ambitious Accounting Manager for our client located in Carlsbad, CA. The client is a leading private charter organization on the verge of exponential growth. You will plan and direct all accounting operational functions as an Accounting Manager. We are seeking an individual for this role who can motivate others by maintaining a positive professional attitude; integrity, reliability, and leadership; provide exceptional client services.

Position: Accounting Manager

Location: Carlsbad, CA

Salary: $85k-$100k DOE

Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-6pm (flexible hours)

Position Type: Direct Hire opportunity

Primary Responsibilities:

· Oversee the responsibility and process to ensure timely and accurate financial statements, manage daily and monthly accruals, prepare and review journal entries, and account reconciliations.

· Manage month and year-end close procedures

· Prepare cash-flow reports, PNL and variance analysis

· Responsible for financial statement audits

· Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results to management

· Support daily, month-end, and year-end close process and audits

· Supervise one accounting clerk

Skills and Experience Required:

· 5 + years in accounting

· BA/BS in Accounting, Finance

· In-depth understating of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

· Financial audit experience

· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

· Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks Online, Sage

· Outstanding analytics

· Public Accounting Audit experience

· CPA qualified advantageous

· Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

· *Drug test and Background check required*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
