Roofix is a family of companies dedicated to excellence in residential and commercial construction. We are a rapidly growing, Fort Worth company seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to work at our fast-paced company.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Management: Manage daily entering of vendor billings and payments
• Accounts Receivable Management: Manage the receivables collection process. Maintain active tracking of receivables with communication to management
• Reconcile Accounts Payable Statements
• Collections
• Keep up-to-date log of subcontractors
• Obtain and file new vendor W-9’s
• Performs various administrative tasks, including handling of incoming/outgoing mail and overnight mail, establishing new supplier accounts, purchasing office supplies, answering telephones and handling walk-ins, etc…

Required Experience

• 3 Years of experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop Edition
• 2 Years of experience with bookkeeping
• 1 Year of experience with Excel
• 1 Year of experience with Word

Required Skills:

• Enjoys a very fast-paced work environment, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to learn new software as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented
• Ability to work well with vendors, clients, and other company employees

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
