Primary Function: State the primary function or overall purpose of your position.
Perform payroll functions for hourly and salary employees.
Essential Functions: List of the essential functions, which must be performed to, fulfill the purpose of your position as described above.
· Process online adjustment for the hourly and salary payroll.
· Make sure Time Clock payroll reports are correct and transmit payroll.
· Print salary and hourly checks and stubs.
· Divide hourly and salary checks and/or stubs by Department (paycheck #) and distribute by supervisors/managers.
· File payroll and Kronos reports.
· Submit a worksheet with payroll #’s for the month to Arecibo site (previously Toa Baja).
· Find and prepare payroll information requested by supervisors, court, and Human
Resources department, for example: information on earnings or deductions of an
Employee for a specific period.
· Prepare manual checks.
· Account analysis.
· Maintain payroll files organized to make easier to look for information.
· Prepare and distribute payroll cost reports to Managers for administrative purposes.
· Complete on time any other task required by my supervisor.
Organizational Relationships: Place job titles in all appropriate boxes. Where there is more than one incumbent with the same title, list the title only once and put beside it in parenthesis the number of incumbents.
Dimensions: Record any measurable statistics which your position impacts, such as production expense, maintenance expense, sales volume, payroll cost, capital expenditures, research budget, cost of purchases, value of inventories controlled, total revenues and expenses audited, etc.
· Payroll Cost: Responsible for an 11M annual payroll.
Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities: For the positions that report to you, give a brief description of each (e.g., job titles, specific functions, key dimensions, etc.).

Specialized Knowledge: Describe any specialized knowledge (e.g., technical, scientific, administrative) which your position requires.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration (master’s degree in accounting Preferred)
Experience: Minimum three year of accounting experience

Major or unusual Problems: Briefly describe a few of the most complex problems encountered in achieving your position’s primary function.
· Not receiving the hourly payroll information on time
· AS400 communication problems
· Requests for old information, for example: Court Deductions.
· Processing manual checks
All these cases are very time consuming and can delay you from your regular duties.

External Contacts: Describe the nature and purpose of your contacts outside the Corporation.
· Corporate Payroll provide information as requested.
· Local Banks representatives: Contact them whenever there is a change on any employee’s deposit.
Principal Accountabilities: Describe five or six critical end results which your position is expected to accomplish.
· Process and transmit: Hourly payroll and adjustments (by Tuesday of every week) and salary payroll adjustment by due dates pre-established by Corporate.
· Prints checks and or stubs and divide them by supervisors.
· Have all the payroll reports organized and available.
· Prepare a work sheet of the payroll of the month.
· Prepare garnishments payments
