Dynamic real estate development company looking to grow our team. William Cole Companies is the developer of Traditions Community, The Stella Hotel and Lake Walk Town Center (www.williamcoleinc.com and www.lakewalktx.com). The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and financial statement preparation. He or she will be organized, have the ability to work independently and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Primary accounting and HR resource for the company, reporting to CFO
• Complete the month-end close on a timely basis
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and management reports for multiple development projects and entities
• Payroll preparation, bank reconciliations, cash management
• Budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

• 3+ years' of accounting experience, preferably in real estate development, construction or property management
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
• Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
• Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
